Marcus was thorough in explaining all aspects of a pistol (multiple). His engagement with the class was great, he answered classmates questions with confidence. On The Range, Marcus (and assistant) took time with each attendee, showed patience and knowledge.
He had me make a few adjustments when aiming with posture (oscoceles triangle) and hit my targets within the circles each time.
Thx Marcus

Off The Porch Everyday Carry was an easy and direct class instructed by a cool guy named Rob that made it easy and co-hosted by Celestia who was very chill. They made it almost impossible to fail and provided great help where trainees may have needed it. Dealing with OTP was a breeze from the set up and transaction all the way to the close. Just remember... Always "keep your gun pointed down range and finger off of the trigger until you are ready to shoot!" 🤙🏾🤙🏾

Dear Instructor Rob Betts,
I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding Basic Pistol course you recently conducted at the Dominion Range near Richmond. Your depth of knowledge and the clarity with which you presented the material were truly commendable.
Your expertise in covering essential topics such as gun safety, the operation of semi-automatic pistols and revolvers, ammunition knowledge, pistol selection, and the five shooting fundamentals was evident throughout the course. Your ability to break down complex concepts into digestible and understandable segments made the learning process both engaging and accessible for participants, and un, regardless of my military level of experience with handguns.
The live fire training and shooting qualification on the range added a practical and invaluable dimension to the course. It was evident that you prioritize hands-on experience, allowing participants to apply the knowledge gained in a controlled and safe environment. This approach not only enhanced our understanding but also instilled a sense of confidence in handling firearms responsibly.
I also appreciate the thoughtful inclusion of the Basic Pistol handbook, which serves as a valuable reference guide. The course completion certificate (expecting a mail in or email delivery) is a testament to the comprehensive training our group received under your guidance.
I wholeheartedly recommend this class to anyone interested in developing their skills with firearms, regardless of their level of experience. Your dedication to promoting safety, proficiency, and responsible gun ownership is commendable, and it truly made the Basic Pistol course a standout educational experience.
Thank you once again for your exceptional instruction, and I look forward to the opportunity to participate in future courses under your guidance.
Sincerely,
Juan "G" Giraud
